The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of activity-oriented conflict resolution program basedon restorative education on the sense of community of elementary-school students. An object of study wasthe 24 students of a fourth grade class in an elementary school in Gyeonggi province. This interventionprogram was developed with the concept of restorative education for learning of useful conflict resolutionway increasing of community engagement within the class. The program took effect to the students 8times for four weeks with dependent variables. The recovery resilience and the sense of the responsibilityand the bystander's attitude with dependent variables checked the program's effect to compare the scoreof pretest-posttest. The activity-oriented conflict resolution program for learning that the conflict cased aschool violence resolve ways peacefully, through appeared significant difference statistician about thestudent's recovery resilience and the sense of the responsibility from the score at pretest-posttest. On theother hand, there was no significant difference between pretest-posttest with the bystander's attitude. Theactivity-oriented conflict applied this sturdy reflected high grade of element feature, could be effective forimproving the self-sense of responsibility and cause analysis and emotional regulation through the variousactivities on students' hands. Ultimately, there are significance of this study that applied preventiveapproach about the school violence based on concept of restorative education.
